"If a government agency leases a vehicle from the General Services Administration, Hanscom LRS can assist with services such as vehicle maintenance, often at a cost lower than they would get commercially."
Among the other services organizers want base personnel to know is available is a shuttle service to Logan Airport as well as a base taxi service for transportation on base to official functions, Ferguson said.
In addition, vehicle operations, deployment and distribution, vehicle maintenance and the materiel management sections will be open for visitors to learn more about.
Bus service is available every 15 minutes from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for those interested in attending the open house. Service will begin and end at Building 1642, site of the open house, and continue to the following facilities: Buildings 1305, 1505, 1600, 1606 and 1614.
