Terrance John Liberti, Jr., a legacy partner for the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Salem State University, tells the story of Holocaust Survivor Max Michelson as part of Holocaust Remembrance Week observances at the base chapel May 2. Michelson was a teenager living in Riga, Latvia, when the Nazi’s invaded and was the only member of his immediate family to survive the Holocaust.
