Installed TASS equipment provides surveillance, detection and situational awareness to the operating location during a sand storm. CONEX containers provide an excellent platform to mount equipment, provide more height for improved detection capability, and house other TASS components from the elements. Hanscom’s Force Protection Division, in collaboration with service partners and using rapid acquisition methods, recently completed the installation ahead of schedule and under budget. BEDFORD, Mass. – Donald Gonsalves, 66th Logistics Readiness Squadron director, tees off during a 66th Security Forces sponsored four-person golf tournament at the Patriot Golf Course May 13 as part of Police Week activities scheduled May 12 through 18. During the golf tournament, each hole presented a unique police-themed challenge to golfers. A closing ceremony and charity barbecue is scheduled May 16 at 12 noon at Castle Park. Donations will be accepted with all proceeds going to the Air Force Security Police Association and National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund charities.
