HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Hanscom civil engineers cleanup debris off roads and in parking lots Oct. 30 in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy that passed through Massachusetts a day earlier. Personnel from the Emergency Operations Center, housing, security forces, fire department, civil engineering and more were stationed on base around the clock to respond to any storm damage, including flooding, downed trees or power outages.
