CDC Pumpkin decorating
HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. - Joanne Mui decorates a pumpkin with her father, Hueming Mui, during the Child Development Center’s Parent Child Pumpkin Decorating Activity on Oct. 27. Children enrolled at the Center decorated pumpkins with their family members while enjoying donuts and apple cider. Oktoberfest
HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. - Oktoberfest will take place Oct. 2 at the Aero Club Hangar from 4 to 9 p.m. The event is open to the entire Hanscom community and will feature entertainment by John and Rebecca Higby, better known as the Yo-Yo’s, a husband and wife team that keep audiences captivated with their Yo-Yo talents. Other entertainment will include a performance by The Vagabonds, a German-American band from Rhode Island that will provide authentic German and American music. For the children there will be face painting, pumpkin decorating, and a performance by Mr. Balloon Wizard. The event will also include a variety of food and drink available for purchase.
