HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The Women’s Equality Day committee will partner with the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility office to host a panel discussion at the Minuteman Commons Aug. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Panel members include U.S. Army Lt. Col. Natasha Clarke, New England Recruiting Battalion commander; Chaplain (Capt.) Kimberly Hall, 66th Air Base Group installation chaplain; Staff Sgt. Morgan Stevens, 66th Medical Squadron records technician; Tech. Sgt. Lauren Walker, 66th Security Forces Squadron Commander Support, Resources & Readiness noncommissioned officer in charge; Martivia Davison, 66th Force Support Squadron human resources officer.
"During this event, we will celebrate the remarkable achievements of women and reaffirm our commitment to equality under the law," said Tech. Sgt. Katsiaryna V. Durant, organizer for the event. “Our panel members provide a broad range of experience and will discuss their own personal experiences and answer questions from attendees.”
This event is free and open to everyone with access to Hanscom. Light refreshments will be available.

Women's Equality Day, first celebrated in 1971, is observed Aug. 26 to commemorate the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote.
Col. Taona Enriquez, installation commander, will sign a proclamation Aug. 25 to recognize Women's Equality Day at Hanscom.
