MLK remembered
Lance Beebe, right, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. observance officer in charge, presents retired Lt. Col. Enoch Woodhouse, III with a gift following his presentation as the guest speaker during the remembrance observance at the base chapel Jan. 15. Woodhouse first joined the U.S. Army Air Corps and completed Officers Candidate School in 1946, at the age of 19. Woodhouse served as finance officer for the Tuskegee Airmen 477th Bombardment Group at Lockbourne Air Force Base, Ohio. When discharged from active duty in 1949, he joined the Air Force Reserves. While a reservist, Woodhouse attended Yale University and Boston University Law School and was assigned to the JAG office in 1956 at Hanscom. (U.S. Air Force photo by Jerry Saslav)
