For base event information, visit the calendar page on the 66th Force Support Squadron's website or the internal community calendar that is only accessible with a common access card on an Air Force network computer.
Local community events can be found by visiting the Bedford, Concord, Lexington and Lincoln or the Boston and Massachusetts calendar sites.
A new mobile app provides base personnel with information about events happening on base, the most-up-to-date news, local resources and much more. iPhone users may download the "USAF Connect" app via the Apple App Store. Android users can download at Google Play. Once downloaded, users should then select "Hanscom Air Force Base" when prompted from the Favorites portal.
EFMP Orientation Zoom class offered
The Airman and Family Readiness Center will offer a quarterly Exceptional Family Member Program Orientation 101 Class through Zoom June 23 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. EFMP-Family Support and EFMP-Assignments will be on-hand to explain the program and answer questions. Virtual ABG change of command planned
Col. Chad Ellsworth will relinquish command of the 66th Air Base Group to Col. Katrina Stephens during a virtual change of command ceremony June 24. The ceremony will be livestreamed to the Hanscom Facebook page beginning at 11 a.m.
Minuteman National Park bike tour
The 66th Force Support Squadron invites cyclists with hybrids or mountain bikes to explore the sites in and around Minuteman National Park June 25 at 11:30 a.m. This event will begin outside Outdoor Recreation and is for anyone 12-years and older. Officials ask that all participants have a face covering.

A&FRC Workshop: Effective Interviewing
This workshop will discuss preparation, execution and proven strategies for a successful interview. Officials will discuss how to be effective with both telephone and Skype interviews. Sample technical and behavioral interview questions will be provided along with tips on how to answer these tough questions.
Bob Dolan, assistant director for Career Services at MIT, will teach the workshop virtually through Zoom. All those interested in attending are asked to email the Airman and Family Readiness Center at firstname.lastname@example.org to register. Once registered, officials will send attendees a link to the Zoom workshop.
Advance your career and increase your confidence by developing your public speaking skills with Toastmasters. The Hanscom Researchers Toastmaster Club meets at the Hanscom Federal Credit Union on base, the second, fourth and fifth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. All are welcome to visit.
