For base event information, visit the calendar page on the 66th Force Support Squadron's website or the internal community calendar that is only accessible with a common access card on an Air Force network computer.

Local community events can be found by visiting the Bedford, Concord, Lexington and Lincoln or the Boston and Massachusetts calendar sites.

A new mobile app provides base personnel with information about events happening on base, the most-up-to-date news, local resources and much more​. iPhone users may download the "USAF Connect" app via the Apple App Store. Android users can download at Google Play. Once downloaded, users should then select "Hanscom Air Force Base" when prompted from the Favorites portal. 


66th Air Base Group Change of Command scheduled
Members of the workforce are invited to attend a change of command ceremony at which Col. Katrina Stephens will relinquish command of the 66th Air Base Group to Col. Taona Enriquez June 27 at 9 a.m. in the Aero Club Hangar. Lt. Gen. Shaun Q. Morris, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center commander, will preside over the ceremony.

As a result of gathering limits, the ceremony will also be live-streamed to the Hanscom Facebook page beginning at 8:45 a.m.


New England Revolution Youth Soccer Clinic scheduled
The Youth Center will partner with the New England Revolution professional soccer club to host two mini clinics June 30 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for children ages 4 to 13 years old.

Command chief to retire July 8
Hanscom's top enlisted member will retire July 8 at 3 p.m. during a ceremony at the Minuteman Commons. The ceremony will be streamed live via Zoom.


Soldiers To Sidelines free football coach workshop hosted by Holy Cross Football
The Holy Cross football team will hold a Soldiers to Sidelines live football workshop July 15 on the Holy Cross campus in Worcester, Mass. This clinic is open to any and all veterans, service members, military spouses and Gold Star Families in Massachusetts and area.

18th annual 2022 AFA “Jim Biddy” Golf Tournament  
The Air and Space Force Association will sponsor a golf tournament and luncheon on Thursday, July 21 with 6:30 a.m. registration and 8 a.m. shotgun start at Stow Acres Country Club, Stow, Massachusetts.

The tournament will honor former Hanscom employee Jim Biddy. Proceeds support the local total Air Force Family: veterans, active duty Guard, Reserve men and women and their families. The tournament will also support the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Boston.

Toastmasters Club
Improve your relationships by developing communication, public speaking, evaluation and leadership skills with Toastmasters. The Hanscom Toastmasters club meets via Zoom on the first, second, fourth and fifth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. All are welcome to participate.
