A new mobile app provides base personnel with information about events happening on base, the most-up-to-date news, local resources and much more. iPhone users may download the "USAF Connect" app via the Apple App Store. Android users can download at Google Play. Once downloaded, users should then select "Hanscom Air Force Base" when prompted from the Favorites portal.

AFA golf tournament
The Paul Revere and Minuteman Chapters of the Air Force Association will host the 16th annual “Jim Biddy” Golf Tournament and luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 1 at the Stow Acres Country Club, Stowe, Mass.
Registration for the four-person scramble begins at 6:30 a.m. A shotgun start begins at 8 a.m. The cost to participate is as follows: $75 for enlisted and O-3/GS-12 and below and $105 for all others. All proceeds will support the Hanscom AFB area Total Air Force Family: active duty, Reserve, Guard, deployed troops, their families, veterans and homeless veteran organizations. 66 SFS remember fallen Defenders
The 66th Security Forces Squadron will host a 6.2 mile ruck march Oct. 2 beginning at 4:15 p.m. to remember Senior Airmen Nathan Sartain and Kacey Ruiz, as well as Senior Airman Jason Khai Phan, who was killed Sept. 12 in a non-combat related accident while deployed.

AFA Paul Revere Chapter 3rd Annual 2020 Counter-small UAS Symposium

A&FRC Workshop: Effective Interviewing
This workshop will discuss preparation, execution and proven strategies for a successful interview. Officials will discuss how to be effective with both telephone and Skype interviews. Sample technical and behavioral interview questions will be provided along with tips on how to answer these tough questions.
Bob Dolan, assistant director for Career Services at MIT, will teach the workshop virtually through Zoom. All those interested in attending are asked to email the Airman and Family Readiness Center at email@example.com to register. Once registered, officials will send attendees a link to the Zoom workshop.
Advance your career and increase your confidence by developing your public speaking skills with Toastmasters.
