A new mobile app provides base personnel with information about events happening on base, the most-up-to-date news, local resources and much more. iPhone users may download the "USAF Connect" app via the Apple App Store. Android users can download at Google Play. Once downloaded, users should then select "Hanscom Air Force Base" when prompted from the Favorites portal.

Join the base community in a pre-Hanukkah celebration at the Base Chapel, Dec. 17 at 5 p.m. Hear the story of Hanukkah as told by Rabbi Atkins. The Menorah Candle Lighting is slated for the following week.
Dr. Martin Luther King breakfast discussion
A Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., discussion will take place Jan. 15 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Minuteman Commons to celebrate the life of King. Officials will commemorate his final speeches, “I’ve been to the Mountain Top” and “Open Letter from the Birmingham Jail.” There is no cost to attend.

Hanscom Little Learner Playgroup
This free 10-week playgroup will take place every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Hanscom Family Housing Community Room for mobile babies to age 5 (pre-Kindergarten) and their caregiver. There will be free-play time, activities for different age groups, and a circle time with stories, songs and rhymes. Non-mobile infant siblings may attend if “worn” in a carrier.
Any family who has access to Hanscom Air Force Base is welcome. Facilitated by Ellie Springer, M.Ed. Early Childhood.
