HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Learn how to prevent fraud when using contract vehicles called Other Transaction Authorities during the Northeast U.S. Fraud Working Group’s meeting April 19 in Devens, Massachusetts.

The 10 a.m. to noon event will feature a panel with experts from the Defense Contract Management Agency, as well as a talk from an OTA expert from the Air Force Research Lab. It is open to military and civilian government employees, but not contractors.

“We’ve mixed it up this year, and we’re going to hold our spring working group in Fort Devens,” said Jennifer Strong, 66th Air Base Group member of the staff judge advocate office specializing in fraud and acquisition programs. “We know OTA’s are getting a lot of attention right now, and we hope people are interested in looking at how to execute those ethically and within legal bounds. New processes always require new ways of thinking.”

The event counts for continuous learning points and continuing education credits. Register here.
