Historic volunteer opportunity
Massachusetts will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord on Patriots’ Day 2025. The Concord and Lexington 250th committees are seeking volunteers to support various logistical needs during the events on April 19. Hanscom AFB personnel and residents are invited to volunteer in a personal capacity.
Volunteers are asked to attend a safety training session provided by the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency on Jan. 11 in the Concord Carlisle High School auditorium located at 500 Walden Street, Concord, Mass. Volunteers can choose from one of two training sessions. The first will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the second from 2 to 5 p.m.
