A new mobile app provides base personnel with information about events happening on base, the most-up-to-date news, local resources and much more​. iPhone users may download the "USAF Connect" app via the Apple App Store. Android users can download at Google Play. Once downloaded, users should then select "Hanscom Air Force Base" when prompted from the Favorites portal. 

 

Health and Wellness Expo planned Oct. 4
Base officials will host a Health and Wellness Expo at the Fitness and Sports Center here Oct. 4 from noon to 5 p.m. The expo will focus on the four pillars of health and wellness: emotional, social, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Hispanic Heritage Month celebrated Sept. 15 through Oct. 15
Base officials will host a free event to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month Oct. 11 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Minuteman Commons. The event is open to all those with base access.

3rd annual Air & Space Forces Association Paul Revere Chapter Fall Golf Outing Oct. 12
The Air & Space Forces Association Paul Revere Chapter will sponsor a golf tournament and luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 12 at Butter Brook Golf Club in Westford, Massachusetts. Registration begins at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. shotgun start.

The tournament will honor former Hanscom employee Greg Doran. Proceeds will support the local total Air Force family, including veterans, active duty/guard/reserve members and their families.

Oktoberfest planned Oct. 13
The 66th Force Support Squadron will host an Oktoberfest event Oct. 13 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Minuteman Commons Tavern. The event will include food available for purchase, crafts, inflatables, axe throwing and more.

Toastmasters Club
Improve your relationships by developing communication, public speaking, evaluation and leadership skills with Toastmasters. The Hanscom Toastmasters club meets via Zoom on the first, second, fourth and fifth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. All are welcome to participate.
