HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The 66th Air Base Group will host a hiring event to fill both full- and part-time positions for the base’s Child Development Center, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Minuteman Commons here.

Potential applicants will have the opportunity to interview with officials for various child care roles at the CDC.

"Participate in our recruitment event, where the chance to cultivate military-connected children begins with immediate interviews," said Maj. Erica Peat, 66th Force Support Squadron commander. "We're not only hiring employees; we're forging pathways for the future of children linked to the military and fostering careers for dedicated caregivers."

To participate, attendees must pre-register on a USAJobs pre-registration page, according to Human Resources officials.

Whether individuals are starting careers in child care or already possess experience, military child and youth development centers offer positions at all levels.

Employees will also receive access to the Hanscom AFB gym, an auto skills facility, a recreation center, golf course, and more.

Other benefits include a 100 percent childcare fee waiver for the first child enrolled in installation child development programs for direct-care employees, according to Air Force officials.
