HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Major Gen. Patricia Rose, Air Force Materiel Command’s senior individual mobilization augmentee, speaks with members of the Hanscom Pride Month Committee after the first-ever Hanscom Pride Month luncheon at the Minuteman Commons June 25. The general, who served as the guest speaker at the luncheon, spoke about “Yesterday’s Struggle, Today’s Heritage.” Rose is thought to be the highest-ranking openly gay officer in the U.S. military.
