HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass – Effective Feb. 7, COVID-19 vaccines and boosters will be available by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Immunizations Clinic here from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Patients can receive doses of the Moderna vaccine on Mondays, and Pfizer doses on Wednesdays and Fridays. Appointments can be made at https://health.mil/dap.html.

“We’re working to keep pace with the demand for doses to ensure anyone who wants to receive one is able to,” said Lt. Col. Ryan Gough, 66th Medical Squadron public health emergency officer.

Currently, the 66 MDS is offering initial vaccine doses of Moderna for patients 18 and older, and Pfizer for patients 5 and older. Moderna boosters are available for patients 18 and older, and Pfizer boosters for patients 12 and older, all who completed their initial COVID vaccine series five or more months ago.

Gough said they encourage patients who have previously tested positive for COVID-19 to still get a booster.

“There is no additional wait time to receive the booster once COVID symptoms have resolved or significantly improved,” he said. “We recommend the booster to further improve immunity.”
