Welcome to the Hanscom Innovation Team page. The Innovation Team helps propel organizational culture shifts within the Hanscom acquisition community and works to expand the innovation footprint throughout the installation. Hanscom is located near numerous higher education, industry and nonprofit organizations, and the Innovation Team actively pursues mutually beneficial partnerships with these groups. With the support of various partners, Hanscom has accomplished a great deal in the areas of small business outreach, small business innovation research, workforce development, infrastructure and energy efficiency projects. The Hanscom Innovation Team is focused on sustaining these partnerships and helping to develop new ones.

  • NSIN Bootcamp encourages culture of innovation

    Hanscom Air Force Base officials partnered with the Department of Defense’s National Security Innovation Network to hold a technology forecasting-focused Bootcamp session at the NEXUS Center in Lincoln, Massachusetts, Aug. 12-15.

  • CSAF brings ‘Case for Change’ message to Hanscom AFB

    Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Allvin’s focus since his tenure began has been his “Case for Change” message on optimizing the Air Force for Great Power Competition. An all call at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, on May 8 was no different.

  • Start-ups and AF personnel come together during training

    Air Force personnel participating in Banshee Innovation Training gave myriad challenge statement presentations to Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, leadership during a culmination event April 5 at the MassChallenge offices.
