The Minuteman Club will reopen Tuesday following a week-long upgrade of the facility.
Club patrons will be able to purchase lunch at the club on Tuesday and Steak Night will be held Tuesday night.

The renovations included replacing the heating, ventilation and air conditioning in the club ballroom, as well as in the Concord Room and the Bedford Dining Room, said David Bovio, Minuteman Club manager.

In addition, Mr. Bovio also said that the draft systems in the Patriot Enlisted Lounge and in the Minuteman Lounge were also refurbished. Also, carpeting in the Patriot Enlisted Lounge was replaced, he said.

These recent upgrades are just some of the improvements that have been made at the facility during the past year.

"The perception of the club continues to improve throughout our membership. Many people have commented on the change in appearance since we began the upgrades roughly a year and a half ago," said Paul Hartigan, 66th Services Squadron Community Support Flight chief, who lauded Mr. Bovio for the improvements.

"These changes were necessary and would never have happened if it wasn't for the excellent leadership Mr. Bovio has demonstrated. Not only has he changed the physical appearance, he has improved the quality of the food and fostered a new, friendlier environment for all of our customers," Mr. Hartigan said.

Further planned improvements to the club include replacing the carpet in the ballroom sometime in February, Mr. Bovio said.

"There is no better time to be a club member, which will help us continue with our changes and give you discounts in virtually all of our Services activities," Mr. Hartigan said.
