U.S. Air Force Band to perform free concerts

The U.S. Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants are scheduled to perform three concerts this weekend in the local area.

The free public concerts will recognize those who have served and inspire patriotism and service to those attending.

The first performance is scheduled Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at the J. Everett Collins Center for the Performing Arts at Andover High School in Andover, Massachusetts.

Tickets for the performance can be picked up at the Andover Veterans Services Office at 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, Mass., Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers limit four tickets per family.

On Saturday at 7 p.m., the Concert Band and Singing Sergeants will perform at the Frederick F. Foresteire Center for the Performing Arts, Everett High School, Everett, Mass.

Tickets are available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Everett High School, 100 Elm Street, Everett, Mass., in the main office.

The Air Force musicians will conclude their local concert series Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester, Mass. 

Tickets for this performance are available at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts, 2 Southbridge Street, Worcester, Mass., in the box office, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday until the start of the performance or until tickets are gone.

The Concert Band and Singing Sergeants consist of more than 150 active duty Airmen musicians stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C.
