Colonel JORGE I. JIMENEZ

Colonel Jorge I. Jimenez is Commander, 66th Air Base Group, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. The group supports the Air Force acquisition mission, providing base, regional and readiness support for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, three Program Executive Offices, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, a variety of other tenant organizations and a joint-service military housing community. The group also provides direct support to approximately 200 geographically separated units and approximately 130,000 retired military personnel, annuitants and spouses living in the six-state New England and New York area.

Col. Jimenez entered the Air Force in 1998 as a graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, University of Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico.

Prior to his current position, Col. Jimenez was the Comptroller, Headquarters U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp Smith, Hawaii. In this position, he led a division providing fiscal oversight and financial management support to the INDOPACOM headquarters mission. He was responsible for the effective planning and execution of over $2 billion across multiple years and appropriations for the headquarters and six sub-component commands.
