Jeremy A. Thiele is the acting Program Executive Officer for Cyber and Networks, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. With over 2,700 personnel under his leadership, he is responsible for a $21 billion portfolio that includes developing, producing, deploying, and sustaining Department of the Air Force enterprise information technology and cyber infrastructure, cybersecurity and cryptologic systems, software development factories and platforms, combat communications, and special programs. These systems enable reliable connectivity for more than 600,000 users at the point of mission need.
Previously, Thiele served as the deputy PEO for C&N at Hanscom AFB. He provided oversight and assistance to the 2,700 men and women who develop, deploy and sustain a $17 billion portfolio of cyberspace, networks, cryptologic and data link systems to Air Force, joint and coalition warfighters to enable decisive combat operations.
Thiele achieved Defense Acquisition Certifications in Program Management, Test and Evaluation, and Systems Engineering, has over 20 years of Department of Defense experience and has also completed Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College. Thiele holds a bachelors and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine, with a focus on Semiconducting Metal Oxide and Surface Acoustic Wave Sensing Applications.
