Newcomer’s in-processing  
Newcomer’s in-processing will be held Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Military & Family Readiness Center, Building 1240.

The session is mandatory for active duty members and federal civilian employees and is designed to help newcomers adjust to life in Massachusetts. The program includes an information fair with local organizations and agencies. In-person attendance is requested, and spouses are welcome.

Brown Bag Lunch & Learn: Estate planning  
The Military & Family Readiness Center will host a Brown Bag Lunch & Learn estate planning session on Thursday, Jan. 29, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Building 1240.

Local estate planning attorney Eric Prichard will discuss updates to Massachusetts estate planning law for 2026, including why an estate plan is important, five essential documents, understanding probate, wills and trusts, and estate tax planning. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch.

Unlock Your Potential: Interview skills  
The Military & Family Readiness Center will host an interview skills workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Building 1240. 

The session will provide insight into the interview process, including different interview formats, how to prepare, what questions to ask, and strategies to stand out.

College & Career Planning Workshop Series: Choosing your career path  
The Education Center will host a College & Career Planning Workshop Series session on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Building 1728.

Designed for transitioning service members, military spouses and teens, the workshop focuses on career exploration through self-discovery, interests, and personality assessments. Participants will use resources such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook. Attendees should bring a laptop or tablet.

College & Career Planning Workshop Series: College selection & the application process  
The Education Center will host a College & Career Planning Workshop Series session on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Building 1728.

Designed for transitioning service members, military spouses and teens, the workshop covers how to research colleges, use the GI Bill Comparison Tool, understand application requirements, and identify the right academic fit. Attendees should bring a laptop or tablet.
