HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The third Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Focus Week of 2018, scheduled for July 23-27, is approaching. Registration is open and continues until the day before each course.

The Summer Focus Week provides opportunities for performance improvement for both the individual and the organization. Registration is open to all Hanscom military and civilian employees.

Employees can register for in-person attendance of any of 17 local classes, or digital attendance of many distance learning courses being held at other bases. Contractors may be able to attend some courses, but should work with course points of contact if their government lead approves attendance and their contract does not prohibit attendance.

Focus Week provides continuous learning points to those on specific career tracks. Courses on topics such as logistics, leadership, foreign military sales, engineering, information protection and program management can earn attendees CLPs. Self-development courses on topics like relaxation and stress relief, and managing change in the workplace, are also available.

Register for courses through the Acquisition Now website. Log on using the red button. Click “apply for a CL event” and enter AFLCMC Focus Week and the date range, July 23-27, 2018. A list of courses will appear. Narrow the list by location on the search page for in-person events at Hanscom.

Those with Air Force network access can view a full course catalog here. A course catalog will be distributed via email to employees or can be obtained by emailing the AFLCMC Focus Week POC at jason.sibrel@us.af.mil.
