HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – 66th Force Support Squadron officials will be running a customer appreciation program through October here.

The “We Want to Make You Smile” campaign will offer many ways for patrons to win prizes, according to FSS officials.

“This is our way of giving back to our great customers, but also to introduce our FSS programs to new customers,” said Greg Thomas, 66 FSS director. “The 66th Force Support Squadron is here for you, and we want to make you smile.”

The campaign is open to uniformed service members, military retirees, Department of Defense civilians and family members age 18 and older, who will have many opportunities to win a prize throughout the month.

“There are five ways people can win,” said Lucy Graziano, 66 FSS Marketing director. “We’ve made it easy for people to participate.”

According to organizers, the first way to win is by the “Prize Patrol” that will be driving around the base.

Other ways to win include “Smile Days,” “Hidden Smiles,” “Smile Selfie,” and “Smile Survey.”

“On Smile Days, patrons will randomly be selected at a specific FSS facility,” said Graziano. “Patrons will be counted and one random person will win.”

On certain days at specific facilities, the person that finds a “Hidden Smile” card will win a prize.

“Smile Selfie encourages people to upload photos from an FSS facility to the Force Support Squadron Hanscom Facebook page with hashtags #FSSSmiles and #ServicesSmiles as well as tag @MyAirForceLife,” said Graziano.

Facilities include Hanscom Lanes, Information Learning Center, Patriot Golf Course, Aero Club, swimming pool, Outdoor Recreation, The Tavern, Fitness and Sports Center and others.

The final way to win is to complete an online survey at https://usafmil.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3ELLKyicF8Fnk8Z. Winners will be announced on the Hanscom FSS Facebook page weekly at https://www.facebook.com/66FSSHanscom/.

The mission of 66th Force Support Squadron is to provide for the morale, welfare and recreation of military and civilian employees and their families.
