HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Commissary-eligible customers will have the option to grocery shop online beginning July 13, according to the Defense Commissary Agency here.

The Hanscom Commissary will accept up to 14 orders per day with pick-up times offered from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

“The ‘CLICK2GO’ service provides Hanscom shoppers the flexibility to order and pay for items online and the convenience to have groceries loaded into your car curbside at the commissary,” said Kelly O’Brien-Gosselin, Hanscom Commissary officer.

Four parking spots in the parking lot adjacent to Barksdale Street will serve as dedicated ‘CLICK2GO’ spots for customers picking up online orders.

The Hanscom Commissary will temporarily waive the $4.95 fee to get the service going at Hanscom, said O’Brien-Gosselin.

Other features include improved online navigation and search functions to help customers plan healthy meals, featured sales and promotions, a mobile-friendly experience, to include seeing order history for ease in re-ordering products, and more.

Hanscom Commissary officials also announced that early-bird shopping will return July 13 from 8 to 9 a.m. on self-checkouts Tuesday through Friday.
