HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The 66th Force Support Squadron will host an End of Summer Festival at the Minuteman Commons here Oct. 1 beginning at 4 p.m.

The event will feature dart and corn-hole tournaments at the Tavern, before moving to the parking lot of the same location for food, games and a drive-in movie.

“This is a great opportunity for everyone in our community, whether they’re an Airman in the dorms or a retiree, to enjoy a shared experience of wrapping up a great summer,” said Andrew Lane, 66 FSS community programs specialist.

The drive-in movie will be “Jumanji: The Next Level.” Viewing areas consist of 30 parking spaces and 30 lawn spaces. Guests must preregister for tournaments and the drive-in by emailing HanscomEvents@gmail.com.

Daniel Jalbert, 66 FSS interim Sustainment Flight chief, said his team is excited to bring a family-oriented event to the Team Hanscom community again.

“This is a great chance to meet and socialize with our neighbors, especially for families who arrived at Hanscom over the last year,” he said. “We’re looking forward to bringing the community back together.”

The festival is open to all those with base access.
