HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Base officials are asking residents living in Hanscom’s privatized housing to participate in the annual Department of Defense Tenant Satisfaction Survey.

CEL & Associates, an independent third party, is administering the online survey, which will be sent via email to residents Oct. 28 through Nov. 4. All tenant inputs are confidential.

“The survey is an opportunity for residents to give their honest and candid feedback, and for us to ensure they’re taken care of,” said LauraLee Morris, Hanscom’s installation resident advocate. “Whether the feedback is good, bad or indifferent, we want to know.”

The survey is open through December for all tenants who reside in Hanscom’s privatized housing regardless of branch, rank or duty status.

Morris said the survey will only be sent to tenants’ primary email address, and only one survey can be submitted per household. Tenants are urged to contact Hunt Military Communities to ensure their primary email on file is an address other than .mil or .gov to avoid the email from getting blocked.

The survey will come from AirForceHousingSurvey@celassociates.com.

The results of the survey help Air Force leaders and project owners identify areas for improvement within the housing arena to better serve present and future generations of service members and their families who call Hanscom home.

According to Morris, last year’s survey resulted in updated crosswalks throughout housing, and additional restricted parking signs were added to make it safer for children to walk to school.

“Our residents have great ideas and suggestions that really make an impact on our community,” said Morris. “Their voices matter. Ensuring our Hanscom Housing residents have a safe and healthy home is our priority.”

If residents have not received a survey by Nov. 5, or have additional questions, they can contact Morris at Laura.Morris.3@us.af.mil.
