HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The 66th Force Support Squadron is now accepting applications for summer positions here to gain work experience with the federal government.

The positions, available through the Pathways Summer Hire Program, provide students with up to 40 hours per week in appropriated funded assignments in grades GS-1 to GS-5.

"We're dedicated to providing students with meaningful employment opportunities and the chance to explore potential careers within the federal government when they graduate,” said Nicole Craver, 66 FSS Human Resources specialist.

Positions that are available include clerical, recreation, laborer, and mini camp aid. Prospective candidates interested in working at Hanscom AFB are encouraged to visit any of the links to learn more about available positions and begin the application process.

Students will have the opportunity to provide essential support to base operations.

"Through deliberate development and experiential training, we aim to cultivate the next generation of civilian leaders," said Craver.

Applications for the program will remain open through June 14, with recruitment efforts ongoing to ensure a diverse and talented pool of candidates.

Base officials will host a hiring event May 23 at the Sheraton Boston Needham Hotel in Needham, Massachusetts, for those individuals seeking civilian positions with the U.S. Air Force. The event is open to all recent college graduates, experienced professionals, veterans, military spouses, and anyone interested in a career working to support our servicemen and women.
