To lessen the impact, the MDS has decided to extend the elective enrollment period. During the elective enrollment, members currently enrolled at the Hanscom Clinic may instead enroll with a local TRICARE Prime provider or Uniformed Services Family Health Plan provider. Patients who need more information on TRICARE Prime providers may call 1-877-TRICARE, logging on to Health Net Federal Services at www.hnfs.com or visiting the TRICARE Service Center. To learn more about US Family Health Plan options, call 1-888-815-5510, log on to www.usfamilyhealth.org or visit with a representative on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brighton Marine Clinic located at 1609 Eglin St, Hanscom AFB. The test pilot school is the world's preeminent fixed-wing test pilot school. TPS graduates are future senior leaders who will be in high demand in an era of increasing combat technological advancements. TPS trains pilots, combat systems officers and engineers to develop, test and evaluate the newest aircraft and weapons systems. The manned pilot selects will fill positions in the fighter, multi-engine and helicopter categories. All other selects will fill positions in the fighter, multi-engine and remotely piloted aircraft categories. TPS graduates will be awarded a Master of Science degree in Flight Test Engineering by Air University, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, TPS conducts exchange programs with the U.S. Navy, United Kingdom and French Test Pilot Schools to train fixed and rotary wing pilots and flight test engineers. Rotary wing pilots and engineers will be assigned to conduct testing on the latest rotary wing systems and special operations assets. Applicants from all aircraft types and backgrounds must have strong academic and technical experience and a desire to help develop the next generation of Air Force weapons and weapons systems. For more information, visit the TPS website at www.edwards.af.mil/units/usaftps/index.asp. Last opportunity to participate in survey The Community Assessment Survey continues through the end of July. Some personnel have been selected to participate in the survey have reported concerns, either about the lack of a digital signature on the invitation emails or about a security alert when accessing the survey website. Be assured that Ipsos, Inc. is the recognized government contractor for the survey and the website www.ipsosresearch.com is the official site for the survey. It is safe to proceed past the certificate error warning and complete the survey. In isolated cases, Air Force personnel have experienced some difficulty accessing the survey; we hope this will dispel concerns about the legitimacy of the survey and to instill confidence in the survey website. Air Staff continues to address both of these issues and to mitigate these concerns. Questions regarding the 2013 Air Force Community Assessment Survey may be directed to Donald Gonsalves at 781-225-1771, donald.gonsalves@hanscom.af.mil or Lisa Pizarro at 781-225-1482, lisa.pizarro@hanscom.af.mil.
