'Super' Frenzy coming to Minuteman Commons

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. --  A "super" party is set for Feb. 3 at the Minuteman Commons to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Baltimore Ravens. A large screen as well as several large screen televisions will be set up in the Commons' ballroom to celebrate "Super" Frenzy.

Attendees will not only have a chance to enjoy the game, but also food and prizes. There will be hundreds of giveaways, square frenzy, bingo and more.

The pre-frenzy starts at 3 p.m. in The Tavern with Super Frenzy Bingo. The cost is $1 per card and includes a chance to win cash prizes. Food and beverages will also be available.

For the main event, doors to the ballroom open at 4:30 p.m. Food will be available beginning at 5 p.m. It's a pot-luck, so attendees are asked to bring a favorite football-themed dish and provide a list of ingredients. In addition, the Commons will provide pizza and sausage with peppers and onions. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed female and male football fan.

This year's party also provides a chance for children 12 and under to get in on the action. Youth Center staff is hosting Wii tournaments, face painting, ping pong, foosball and more in The Den starting at 4:30 p.m.

For teens, a separate Teen "Super" Party will take place at the Youth Center from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., or completion of the football game. There will be games, trivia, snack, football and giveaways. The cost is $2 for Youth Center members and non-members. There is no signup deadline.

The cost for Super Frenzy is $8 for adults, with members receiving a $2 discount, and $4 for children 12 and under. The cost includes food, square frenzy entry, drawings and giveaways.
