The goal for Hanscom was to collect 1,000 pounds of food for the 2012 Feds Feed Families food drive. In total, participants completed the drive with a total weight of 4,910 pounds.

The collection of nonperishable food was a success and would not have been possible without the outstanding efforts of everyone who donated, assisted and supported this cause, according to the food drive committee.

The Greater Boston food bank staff passed along their appreciation for the aid given and said it will greatly support the community.

The Feds Feed Families Food Drive champions: Tech. Sgt. Don San Juan, Tech. Sgt. Jason Sawicki and Tech. Sgt. Charles Humphrey, would like to thank the Hanscom community for all of their generosity and charitable assistance given to the 2012 Feds Feed Families food campaign.
