Students help veterans

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. - Genesis Sandoval sorts through toothbrushes to deliver to the local VA hospital just before the holidays. The Hanscom Primary School students and staff collected new clothing and personal hygiene items for the veterans as part of a lesson on “what it means to be a veteran.” First grade teacher Mary-Ann Sullivan has been organizing the donation drive for 15 years.
