Coast to Coast, the company taking the reins as the catering service for the new Minuteman Commons, will soon begin offering a wide range of food options to customers here.

Starting Aug. 22, they will open the Thunderbird Restaurant and begin serving grab-and-go breakfast and lunch in The Den, formerly the Minuteman Lounge, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. They plan to offer a salad bar, hot food plates and more. Customers will be invited to eat in or take out.

"We're going to completely change the menu and offer daily specials, all at reasonable prices," said Robert Coppola, from Coast to Coast. "We'll also have a suggestion box. If we talk to the military members and they tell us something they want, we'll try to accommodate them."

In addition to quick food options, the company will offer full services to organizations and individuals who want to host a catered event at the commons.

"What excites us about Coast to Coast is their ability to provide food service support, from small business lunches to big events and functions," said Vic Hayes, 66th Force Support Squadron director. "Coast to Coast will truly add to the services available for our Hanscom community."

The catering company will provide a complete wait staff, décor, a personal chef for intimate parties or buffet catering for any theme.

"We want to have theme parties, we'll look into getting a pizza oven and may even explore delivery services," Mr. Coppola said.

Coast to Coast has more than 25 years of experience on a wide range of events, including weddings, graduations, reunions, parties and more.

More information, including an updated menu and prices, will be available in the coming weeks. To schedule an event with catering services at the Minuteman Commons, call 781-377-3799 for further information.
