New Horizons agenda set Published Jan. 3, 2011 By Chuck Paone 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The 2011 New Horizons Conference, sponsored by the Lexington-Concord Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, will be held Jan. 25 and 26 at the Marriott Newton Hotel in Newton, Mass. The annual symposium primarily features presentations from Electronic Systems Center program managers, who share program insights and new business opportunities with industry representatives. The ESC Commander will present his Annual State of ESC Address in conjunction with the symposium on January 26 at 1 p.m. This year's symposium will be the first at which ESC program presentations will be grouped according to individual Program Executive Officer portfolios. Numerous additional topic-oriented sessions are also slated, including a Technologies Perspective session to be given by Air Force Research Laboratory and a Technology Integration briefing from ESC's Capabilities Integration Directorate. An Enterprise Engineering session, an ESC Contracting Perspectives presentation and an Evolving Acquisition Policy brief are also on the docket. Event organizers will hold a Welcome Reception for all attendees from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 24.
