CFC goal within reach Published Nov. 12, 2010 By Sarah Olaciregui 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- With less than a week left in Hanscom's Combined Federal Campaign, more than $200,000 has been collected toward the $245,000 goal. "We're at 82 percent of our goal," said Capt. Dave Alpar, the CFC installation manager, "and I'm confident that we'll reach that goal." According to Captain Alpar, more donations came in during the beginning of the campaign as compared to last year. "I think this is a testament to the unit representatives," he said. "It means they are getting out there and asking people to donate." Many organizations have held their own fundraisers, as well. For example, for those federal employees that participated in the Veterans Day Fun Run at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Bedford, $10 from the registration fee was donated to the CFC. The last day of Hanscom's CFC is Nov. 17. Anyone who wishes to donate may contact their unit representatives. Unit Representatives: Hanscom representative: Capt. Dave Alpar 781-377-2668 AFRL: 2nd Lt.
