Tops in Blue returns, encourages Airmen 'To Dream' Published Nov. 3, 2009 By JC Corcoran 66th Air Base Wing Public Affairs HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The Hanscom community is invited to join the Tops in Blue as they present "To Dream," an event featuring music and dance, inviting members of the audience to follow their dreams. Tops in Blue returns Nov. 22 to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Mass. The family-friendly show, an Air Force tradition for more than 50 years, is widely regarded as a must-see event. Performances are eclectic and include singing and dancing to show tunes and Latin, country and popular music. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance will begin at 7 p.m. The performance is free and tickets are not required. Seating is on a first come, first served basis at the auditorium. Hanscom's military personnel are being offered free round trip transportation to the show. Buses will leave at 5:45 p.m. from the long term parking lot located near the Hanscom Clinic. The buses will return to Hanscom shortly after the performance ends. "What better way to celebrate the Year of the Air Force Family than joining us for Tops in Blue," said Col. Dave Orr, 66th Air Base Wing commander. "They are not only professional Airmen but a team of extremely talented entertainers. I guarantee our ambassadors in blue will put on a fantastic show and leave you proud of our Air Force. "I encourage all of our military members and families to come out, take advantage of the free bus transportation and enjoy a great night of family entertainment provided by our best of the best, Tops in Blue," he said.
