Read for the Record
HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Eve Peabody, 66th Force Support Squadron, reads to children in Room 5 at the Child Development Center on Oct. 8, as part of Jumpstart’s national Read for the Record Campaign. The campaign is designed to bring attention to the importance of early education by encouraging hundreds of thousands of children and adults to read the same book on the same day. USO New England donated copies of the book, The Hungry Caterpillar, to children enrolled in the CDC’s pre-school program as part of the Read for the Record campaign.
