New luncheon buffet coming to Minuteman Club

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. --  The Hanscom Minuteman Club will begin a new Lunch Buffet on April 21 that will feature a themed specialty lunch each day during the week, Tuesday thru Friday. The buffet will include: entrée specials, salad bar, rolls, coffee, fountain drink and dessert.

Long time patrons need not worry about their favorite signature sandwiches, burgers, or wraps disappearing as the Club will continue to carry these luncheon items during the week as well.

The new buffet will feature Tex-Mex on Tuesdays with items ranging from Bar-B-Q to frijoles with a touch of Southwestern flavor and hospitality. Italian Day will occur every Wednesday with Risotto Pomodoro and Linquine Verde during this Italian food lovers' feast. Thursdays the Club will feature a "Worldwide Fare" with items that celebrate a variety of national observances, local traditions and culinary treats. Fridays will bring forth that New England flavor with "chow-dah", seafood, boiled dinners, Boston Baked Beans and more.

Salad lovers are "good to go" with the Club's Create Your Own Salad meal featuring a variety of salad toppings and dressings all accompanied by the soup of the day and rolls.

No time to sit and enjoy your meal then be sure to ask for Take-Out.

"This (Buffet) is something our club members and lunch customers have been asking for and we're happy that we are now able to bring this to the table," said Dave Bovio, Minuteman Club manager.

"Of course we will still have our regular luncheon items such as our club sandwiches,
burgers, and our variety of wraps that include turkey, chicken Caesar, buffalo chicken or grilled vegetable. Each comes with a choice of fries, chips or carrot sticks," he said.
