Hanscom gears up for UCI/TRI with BRE, pep rally Published Oct. 16, 2008 By Rhonda Siciliano 66th Air Base Wing Public Affairs HANSCOM AFB, Mass. -- With just fourteen days to go, Hanscom will head into the Nov. 1-10, Unit Compliance Inspection, Targeted Readiness Inspection at full throttle following a Base Readiness exercise and UCI/TRI pep rally. The Base Readiness Exercise will take place Oct. 20 to 24 and will include readiness training for more than 230 Hanscom personnel at Camp Patriot. Following the BRE on Oct. 24, Lt. Gen. Ted Bowlds, Electronic Systems Center commander, will host a UCI/TRI pep rally in the Tennis Bubble from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Attendance for the event is mandatory for military and highly encouraged for Government civilian employees. Support contractor personnel, including A&AS support contractor personnel (PASS/ETASS/SCS III), are permitted to attend the commander's call; however, as support contractor personnel under non-personal services contracts are not Government employees and are not supervised by Government employees, they are to obtain approval from their employer, for example their contractor supervisor or task order task lead, before attending. The pep rally will feature brief presentations by General Bowlds, Wing leadership, Col. Denise Kloeppel, 66th Air Base Wing Inspector General, the 66 ABW Safety Office, and Chief Master Sgt. Karen McCoy, ESC's Command Chief. "It's time to put our game faces on and get charged up for the start of our Unit Compliance Inspection and Targeted Readiness Inspection," said Colonel Kloeppel. "We're ready for this, we've been preparing for months, now it's time to show the inspectors what we already know -we're ready, bring it on."
