The 951st Electronic Systems Group, along with the Paul Revere Chapter of the Air Force Association, is sponsoring the upcoming 14th annual Mission Planning User's Conference slated for Nov. 18-20 at the Flamingo Hotel and Conference Center in Las Vegas.

"The Mission Planning User's Conference is a major reason the mission planning program office has been able to provide warfighters with the world's best mission planning capabilities," said Col. Gary Hetland, 951 ELSG commander. "This conference is the conduit of information we need from users to ensure we continue to provide world-class mission planning capabilities needed to plan and execute missions."

The conference aims to present a venue for the mission planning enterprise to exchange ideas, promote mission planning, train on the latest technology and gain perspective on future mission planning innovations.

This year's agenda includes speakers James "Snake" Clark, technical director, Simulation and Integration, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Innovations Directorate and Unmanned Aerial Systems Task Force, deputy chief of staff, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Headquarters U.S. Air Force; Brig. Gen. Kenneth Merchant, director of Logistics, Headquarters Air Mobility Command; Maj. Gen. (sel.) Stephen Hoog, commander, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center; and, Army Col. Anthony Potts, project manager, Aviation Systems.

The agenda also includes a full spectrum of mission planning topics from across the services to include senior leadership perspectives about the future of mission planning and current warfighter experiences.

The MPUC is open to all individuals in the mission planning enterprise - both government and industry program managers, developers, logisticians and anyone working with the MPS. The conference registration fee is $95 for government and industry participants.

More than 200 seminars and classes detailing mission planning systems requirements that support warfighters executing missions with the MPS will also be included as part of the conference. An exhibit hall will feature vendors of government and industry mission planning product experts.
