Base Civil Engineering services contract award announced Published Feb. 13, 2008 By Rhonda Siciliano 66th Air Base Wing Public Affairs HANSCOM AFB, Mass. -- Hanscom Air Force Base announced Feb. 5 that it has awarded a contract worth up to an estimated value of $87 million dollars to IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. of Cape Canaveral, Fla. to provide civil engineering services for the base. The contract carries a one-year period of performance with a government option of up to four additional years. The contract will begin on March 1 with a one-month transition of services from Del-Jen, Inc., which has held the contract since January 2003, when Hanscom first contracted out its CE services. Services provided by IAP will include customer support, infrastructure and facility maintenance, physical plant operations, utilities management, civil engineer services, engineering support, repair, some construction, quality control, military readiness, property and financial management.
