In addition, the Education and Training Center provides a wealth of information on schools located across the globe, including three that have campuses on base. These schools are Boston University Metropolitan College, Park University and Webster University. Boston University Metropolitan College Boston University has offered graduate business degree programs at Hanscom since 2004. "The university's military programs are offered under the auspices of Metropolitan College, one of the 17 degree-granting bodies within Boston University," said Gerard Keegan, Boston University's Hanscom Programs director. The school's military programs offer on-base classes and are available to all qualified active-duty military personnel and their dependents, as well as Department of Defense employees and contractors who have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, Professor Keegan said. The university's Master of Science in Business Administration program, offered at the Hanscom Education and Training Center, uses an alternate weekend format. Classes are scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The program consists of 10 courses and can be completed in 20 months. "A subset of the MSBA program is the Acquisition Manager's Certificate program, a four-course program that addresses the financial, contract, program and leadership requirements of those in the acquisition field," Professor Keegan said. All four courses can be applied to the MSBA degree program as well. Registration for the MSBA program's summer 2007 semester will run from April 1 to May 31.
