HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – A behind-the-scenes look at teamwork, leadership transitions, and summer activities are highlighted in the latest episode of Team Hanscom Today.

Senior Airman Colin Edwards, a member of the 66th Comptroller Squadron, served as guest host, spotlighting the efforts of his fellow finance professionals during a busy permanent change of station season and the approaching fiscal year closeout.

“Our accounting and budget teams are the ‘back shop’ heroes that most of Hanscom Air Force Base rarely sees,” said Edwards. “They’re hard at work ensuring every squadron and agency executes their funding down to the very last dollar.”

The episode also introduces Maj. Travis Hough, who assumed command of the 66th Force Support Squadron during a ceremony July 18, following the departure of Lt. Col. Erica Peat.

Hough brings experience at the squadron, group, and wing levels, along with staff assignments at both the Numbered Air Force and Major Command levels.

“We’re excited to see FSS continue to thrive under your leadership, sir,” said Edwards during the episode.

In addition, the program highlights FSS summer offerings, including youth programs, arts and crafts, and bowling events designed to keep families active and connected.

“From the outstanding work in finance to new leadership and family fun — we are proud to support you here at Hanscom,” Edwards said in closing.
