HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The senior enlisted leader for the Department of the Air Force’s Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management served as guest host for Team Hanscom Today this week.
Senior Master Sgt. James Sweet opened by highlighting C3BM’s mission.
“Our work integrates roughly 50 programs of record across the Department of the Air Force, ensuring the resilient decision advantage needed by the Air Force, Space Force, joint, and coalition forces to win against the pacing challenge,” he said.
The episode also included details about C3BM’s first Engagement Day, scheduled for Aug. 20. The unclassified virtual event will provide insight into the office’s mission and outline collaboration opportunities. Registration is open through Aug. 15 via the DAF PEO C3BM LinkedIn page.
Sweet shared information about an upcoming Officer Training School panel for enlisted Airmen and Guardians interested in applying to OTS.
The first session in the panel series will take place Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Room at the Minuteman Commons. Attendees will hear from three recent OTS graduates and have an opportunity to ask questions about the application process.
The episode concluded with information on Midnight Ride 2025, a readiness exercise set for Aug.13-27.
The exercise will evaluate the base’s ability to respond to threats, deploy forces rapidly and sustain operations under contested conditions.
Officials said the exercise may cause temporary gate closures and reduced availability of some customer services, but emphasized that disruptions will be kept to a minimum to maintain realism.
