HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The chapel here recently opened a new Community Resiliency Center designed to provide Team Hanscom personnel a space to relax, recharge, and connect.

The center includes a Café Corner, courtyard garden, self-serve pantry, adult clothing closet, and the annex fellowship hall.

“Our goal is to provide a safe and inviting place that meets the needs of our community while supporting resiliency and connection,” said Chaplain (Maj.) Alex Lu, installation chaplain.

The new center offers visitors complimentary coffee, calming music, board games, books, and outdoor space for families.

Base officials plan to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in September.
