The 66th Force Support Squadron will host its annual German-themed fall community event here Sept. 19.

The event will begin at 3 p.m. in the Chapel parking lot.

“We love bringing the Hanscom community together and providing a fun event for all ages,” said Alysha Brandy, 66 FSS lead event coordinator.  “Guests can enjoy live German music, axe throwing, bounce houses and a movie on the lawn in the evening.”

The live-action movie Lilo & Stitch will be shown, with free popcorn available.

Residents are encouraged to walk from housing if weather permits. Parking will also be available nearby.“I’m excited to see everyone at this year’s event,” said 1st Lt. Alyssa Sanchez, 66 FSS lead event coordinator. “We are hosting a stein holding competition where attendees are eligible to win awesome prizes.”

Organizers emphasize the importance of drinking responsibly and to arrange for a designated driver, if needed.

While no rain date is scheduled, the event will move to the Minuteman Commons in case of inclement weather.
