This holiday season, all military personnel and federal employees are encouraged to donate to the Combined Federal Campaign, running through Dec. 31.

The CFC is a federal program that encourages charitable donations and volunteerism that support local, national and global communities.

“The campaign allows you to support causes you care about with ease and confidence,” said Master Sgt. Jordan Deskins, Hanscom AFB CFC representative. “It's a chance to give back to the community, no matter your rank or position, every contribution is valued and appreciated.”

The CFC offers a vetted and trusted contribution platform connecting individuals directly with charities.

“The best way to donate is through the CFC's online giving system,” said 2nd Lt. Janelle Ubungen, Hanscom AFB CFC representative. “The program allows donors to give dollars and volunteer time to charities of their own personal choice, while also contributing to community outreach and investing in a greater cause.”

Other methods to donate include paper pledge forms, the CFC Giving mobile app, and Text-to-Donate.

According to the CFC website, pledges support nonprofit organizations that provide health and human services around the world.

“Every dollar counts,” said Deskins. “Even a small contribution can make a big difference when combined with the generosity of others.”
