HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – This week’s Team Hanscom Today highlights two senior master sergeants here selected for chief master sergeant, enterprise-wide transformation, and center-level awards.
Mark Herlihy, 66th Air Base Group Public Affairs photographer, hosted the episode.
“Congratulations to Senior Master Sgt. Alan Kitler of the 66th Comptroller Squadron and Senior Master Sgt. Justin Sindelar of the Presidential and Executive Airpower Directorate for being selected to the Air Force’s highest enlisted rank,” said Herlihy.
Kitler will be promoted during a ceremony at the Minuteman Commons Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. All with base access are invited to attend.
The episode also included personnel who earned Air Force Life Cycle Management Center awards.
“These awards speak to the talent across our installation and the teams that make mission success possible every day,” Herlihy said.
The weekly program also included information about the Warfighting Acquisition System.
“The Air Force is moving from program executive officers to portfolio acquisition executives,” Herlihy said. “This change streamlines decision-making and aligns accountability directly with mission outcomes.”
The episode closed highlighting the Commander’s Fitness Challenge, which recently kicked off on base. The challenge emphasizes readiness, resilience and leadership through fitness.
