Installations across the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center recognized outstanding workforce achievements during the 2025 Acquisition Management Awards held virtually at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, March 18.

The event spotlighted individuals and teams who demonstrated excellence in acquisition leadership, program management and support to the warfighter.

“With more than 200 award entries, the 2025 annual Acquisition Management Awards were highly competitive this year,” said Donald Thompson, director, AFLCMC Acquisition Excellence and Program Execution Directorate. “All of the nominees implemented innovative acquisition strategies to address critical warfighting needs that achieved outstanding results.”

Hanscom AFB had 43 finalists in 26 of the 34 award categories, with five selected as winners:

Dennis D’Angelo, AFLCMC executive director, congratulated the winners and nominees.

“There has been a lot of push for acquisitions to take on more of a war-fighting mentality,” said D’Angelo. “The award packages prove that we do that every minute of every day. You should be very proud of what you do because there is someone out in the field who needs your technology today to keep them safe and to bring them home. You make a huge impact, every day, and people out there are counting on you to deliver. Never underestimate your impact to the mission by your proximity to the fight.”
