Two senior enlisted leaders will be recognized during a Chief Master Sergeant Induction Ceremony here April 25.

The ceremony formally acknowledges the transition of a senior master sergeant to the highest tier of enlisted leadership.

“Chiefs are one percent of the Air Force,” said James McClure, Hanscom AFB Chiefs Group president. “They are the final step in the enlisted promotion chain, so it’s a very special occasion. There is a lot of responsibility that comes with the rank of chief master sergeant and this ceremony recognizes that.”

Command Chief Master Sgt. Timothy Wieser for Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will deliver the keynote address.

The event will take place in the Minuteman Commons ballroom. The social portion begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the formal ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

Military attire is mess dress or semi-formal. Civilian attire is business or semi-formal.

Tickets are $20 per person. Those interested in attending should RSVP by April 10.

The following individuals will be inducted during the ceremony:

Chief Master Sgt. Alan Kitler, 66th Comptroller Squadron
Chief Master Sgt. Justin Sindelar, Presidential and Executive Airpower Directorate
