HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The 66th Force Support Squadron will host its annual Health and Wellness Expo May 13 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Fitness and Sports Center.
The expo is designed to support the Comprehensive Airmen Fitness model by encouraging healthy behaviors and build a thriving base community through physical, mental, social and spiritual components.
“If someone would like to improve their physical, mental, social or spiritual fitness, they can discover something new to try,” said Kristin Wright, supervisory integrated prevention chief. “Our goal is to ensure every community member feels valued and knows where to find support when they need it most.”
Hanscom AFB helping agencies, local community resource representatives and other vendors will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Attendees can observe live demonstrations and participate in a variety of activities.
The event coincides with the early release of Hanscom School, allowing families and children to attend. Kid-friendly activities include a bounce house, golf, face painting and more.
The event is open to those with base access and is designated as an alternate duty location.
