HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. --  Joint Personal Property Shipping Office Northeast is available to assist those service members scheduled to permanently change station this summer.

For those expecting to move this summer season, JPSSO officials ask they be aware of the high volume of moves through September, to include pickup, transportation and delivery.

Service members should plan to be flexible when selecting a date for packing, pickup and delivery. Never schedule a pickup or delivery on the closing date of a residence, on the last day of residency in an apartment, the day of termination of a lease or the day a cleaning crew is scheduled to start.

JPPSO's team of subject matter experts is prepared to assist members with their movement needs. Technicians are available to lend a hand with:

· Clarifying entitlements
· Updating customer records
· Arranging for delivery of a shipment
· Changing delivery dates
· Tracing a shipment or locating property
· Privately-owned vehicle guidance
· Permanent storage guidance on extending/releasing property
· Claims guidance/points of contact
· Documentation
· Providing carrier/agent contact information
· Time Limit Extension (TLE) guidance
· Personally Procured Moves (counseling/reimbursement)
