EES/WAPS briefing team visits Hanscom Published July 14, 2015 HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Personnel from Headquarters Air Force and the Air Force Personnel Center are scheduled to conduct briefings here July 24 to share information about Enlisted Evaluation System and Weighted Airman Promotion System. During each of the four scheduled briefings, subject matter experts will speak about EES/WAPS changes that have already been implemented, those slated for implementation in the months ahead, and the reasons and philosophy behind the changes. "This is one of the most significant changes to the enlisted evaluation and promotion system in a generation," said Maj. Gen. Peggy Poore, AFPC commander. "We feel it's important to bring this information directly to commanders and Airmen and allow them to ask questions and get immediate answers from the experts." Hanscom Command Chief Master Sgt. Craig A. Poling encourages base commanders and supervisors to attend their specific session and take advantage of the 30-minute question and answer period that follows. "It's not often we have an opportunity to hear directly from Air Force Personnel Center experts on changes as significant as those that have been made to the Enlisted Evaluation System and enlisted promotion system," Poling said. The chief stressed that making sure supervisors and commanders understand the evaluation system is important to promoting the best Airmen.
